Meet the Staff
Joshua, Moriah, Jeremy, and Tracy
Jeremy grew up in Fredericksburg, Va and moved here from Newport News, Va in 2008. He went to college at a small university in Newport News called Christopher Newport University where he graduated in 2005 with a degree in Information Science. He met his wife, Tracy, in Newport News and got married in 2006. They have a handsome son named Joshua who was born on Aug. 27, 2007. Jeremy spent a year interning at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va before moving to Boone, where he and his wife are the staff workers at Appalachian State. He enjoys reading, drinking coffee, hanging out with friends, spending time outdoors (fishing, hiking, camping, etc.), and watching sports games on TV with friends (specifically the Cubs and Bears).
Tracy was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Appalachian State in 2000 with a degree in Recreation Management. She served on IV Staff at Mary Washington College in Virginia for 3 years. The next three years Tracy spent back in North Carolina working for summer camps and after school programs at the local YMCA. She moved back to VA and married her dreamy husband, Jeremy, in 2006. Shortly after the birth of her son, she moved to Boone, NC to serve on staff at A.S.U. with Jeremy. She loves to be outside- especially if there is water involved. She loves people and getting to know strangers- which is easy to do when you have a cute baby boy with you. Some of her favorite things to do are watching movies, reading blogs, scrapbooking, and hanging out with friends.
